What is Jam City?

Jam City celebrates what makes this area unique. Hometown chefs creating one-of-a-kind recipes that offer a new twist on classic PB&J. Locally crafted beers. Talented area musicians performing their original music live. And best of all, a chance for the people of the Toledo area to come together for a great cause, and let good food and good music do real good for people in need right here at home.

Peanut butter and jelly. It’s a lunchbox classic and a staple of Food for Thought’s outreach. Jam City is about seeing the potential that exists in these simple ingredients. That’s why we’ve asked some true culinary maestros to shape them into brilliant concoctions that you won’t find anywhere else—including an all-new dessert category.

Live Music

This year’s lineup represents a diverse array of styles, from indie rock to earthy blues. But they’re all local musicians who ply their trade throughout the Toledo region—and represent the 419 with pride. Don’t miss Andrew Ellis, Dean Tartaglia (of the Silent Lions), Nathan Roberts & the New Birds, all in one place, all on one night.
